To conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials,
environmental samples, finished goods or stability samples.
To calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment.
To compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses.
To complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data
capture forms, equipment logbooks / inventory forms.
Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved.
Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
To interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits,
and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
Investigate and report questionable test results.
Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to
established item specifications, standard test methods and protocols.
Ensure 100% chemical compliance to standards through scheduled checks and
recommend corrective actions.
Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective
Undertake corrective action on quality of raw materials and packaging with Material
Train Lab Assistants to perform Lab tests
Competence (Skills, knowledge, experience and attributes required)
Education Qualification - Only M.Sc. - Analytical Chemistry.
7-8 years in the Quality control/ Analytical lab Pharma/Chemicals/Oil
Must have knowledge of sophisticated machine like Troubleshooting/
GC/ HPLC/ ICP/ UTM etc, Preparation of standard solution, Classical lab
testing etc. knowledge of chemistry, analytical & lab equipment,
Knowledge of Total quality management, ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS
