Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer with 46 years of experience to
support the design, execution, and commissioning of process plants,
manufacturing facilities, and industrial projects in the FMCG, Beverage, Food,
Dairy, and Chemical industries.
The ideal candidate will assist the Project Manager in executing projects from
concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in
compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support & Coordination
Assist the Project Manager in developing project scopes, schedules, and
budgets.
Coordinate design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and highlight potential risks
or delays.
Maintain accurate documentation of drawings, specifications, and approvals.
- Engineering & Technical Support
Prepare and review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documents
for processing lines, packaging lines, piping systems, utilities, HVAC, and
cleanroom facilities.
Support the design and selection of process equipment, utilities, and
automation systems.
Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ASME, ISO and other relevant standards
during project execution.
Assist in plant layout optimization and utility integration.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Support vendor selection, procurement, and technical evaluations.
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
of materials and equipment.
Attend site meetings and progress reviews with stakeholders.
- Site Supervision & Commissioning
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities under the
guidance of the Project Manager.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests
(SAT), and performance trials.
Ensure equipment and systems meet quality, safety, and operational
requirements before handover.
- Compliance & Safety Support
Follow health and safety protocols (OSHA, HSE standards) on site.
Assist in identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures.
Maintain records for regulatory and quality audits.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Diploma / bachelors degree in mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Dairy
Technology, Food Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
