Job Overview:
As a Process Design Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing Conceptual Process Engineering Designs of Water & Waste Water Treatment/ Recycling/ ZLD & Desalination Plants for all tenders & contracts & prepare complete Basic Engineering package (BEP) documents for all contracts.

Key Responsibilities for Project Jobs:
Preparation of Basic Engineering package (BEP) documents like process description, mass balance, Equipment list, Equipment Sizing Calculation (Process units, tanks, vessels), Utility calculations, Sludge generation calculation, Hydraulic calculation for rising mains – Pumps, Hydraulic calculation of gravity mains, process datasheet of equipment, pumps, agitators, instruments, blowers, valve schedule, pipe schedule, line schedule, tie in list, etc.
Ability to run software’s of UF and RO system design.
Complete design of UF and RO system with respect to UF cycle time, RO cycle time, piping of UF and RO system, preparation of drawings for skid mounted units of UF and RO.
Design of biological systems like sequential batch reactor, membrane bio reactors, Activated sludge process & MBBR etc. Complete design of Demineralized water treatment plants i.e. DM plant, Condensate polishing unit, RO followed by DM plant.
Preparation of Process Flow Diagram, P&ID diagrams, Hydraulic Flow Calculation & Diagram, General Arrangement Drawings for process units, tanks, vessels , Building , chemical house etc.
Preparation of skid mounted GA drawings for vessels/UF-RO skids/chemical dosing systems.
Preparation of Layout for entire plant according to existing/ revamp or new plot plan build up.
Responsible for conducting client/consultant meeting to get the approval on all the Basic & Design Engineering documents.
Preparation of detailed control philosophy and operation & maintenance manual.
Preparation of process datasheet for media/resins/chemicals/membranes.
Co-ordination between Design, Planning, Procurement and Production department for all aspects.
